Speech by the Lawyer and Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at Philips University Fotis Spyropoulos in the context of the project “Fraud Repression through EDucation” of the Sapienza University of Rome, the Italian Fondazione Nationale dei Commercialisti and the University of West Attica.

On July 5, 2024, the Lawyer and Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at Philips University Fotis Spyropoulos participated as an invited speaker in a public event which took place in the context of the project “Fraud Repression through EDucation” of Sapienza University of Rome, the Italian Fondazione Nationale dei Commercialisti and the University of West Attica.

The agenda of the event included speeches and discussions focusing on risk management, data-driven approaches to fraud, internal controls, future perspectives and educational challenges in the fight against fraud. Speakers from many academic institutions with international presence such as Sapienza University of Rome, University of West Attica, University of Rzeszow (Poland), University of Seychelles, etc. participated.

In the context of the event, Assistant Professor Fotiοs Spyropoulos gave a speech on the role of integrity advisors and mediation in the framework of public administration and an ongoing cooperation with the participants in this scientific event was agreed.
